Statements like this are common in the German health sector. The situation is critical at many hospitals. The HR Departments are facing a hard truth. Too many doctors who are near the end of their carrier, going into pension, and too few new medical students coming out of the universities create the picture of empty hospitals in many areas of Germany. This is the case also in big cities like Hamburg or Berlin.
