HOSPITALS & DEPARTMENT PRESENTATON
“Our Department of Internal Medicine I, has an extensive and very modern building and technical equipment. Works included the interventional endoscopy including endosonography, the video capsule endoscopy, interventional sonography (including KM-sonography) and bronchoscopy. The Department of Gastroenterology provides over 6,000 endoscopies and ultrasound scans per year. In oncology, both hematological and all solid tumors are treated multimodal. There is close collaboration with an oncology specialist practice on the hospital grounds. The Internal Medicine directs the interdisciplinary tumor conference, and, together with the Departments of Radiology and Visceral Surgery at all common methods for locally-ablative tumor therapy. A palliative area is under construction. Another focus of the department is to infectious diseases, especially the diagnosis and treatment pulmonologischer infections. Critically ill patients with diseases are treated in the interdisciplinary internal intensive care unit with 19 beds
Your Tasks:
• Upper Medical Assistance of inpatient oncology patients
• Participation in the senior physicians background service for the Department of Internal Medicine I
• facilitation of interdisciplinary oncology conference
-An advantage would be the ability to participate in endoscopic Call Service
REQUIRED
• Advanced German (B2/C1 certificate)
• Experienced Consultant or senior in internal medicine with oncology qualification
