Hadassah launches new smartphone application for patients
The new app will offer patients more efficient service
The Hadassah Medical Center launched a new smartphone application, with the aim of offering more efficient services to patients as well as reaching potential patients.
The new unique application was developed as a joint project of Hadassah’s Information Systems Division and Ideomobile, an Israeli company that specializes in mobile channel solutions.
The application is available for download on the Android or Application Store. It can also be accessed at the Admission Desks at Hadassah hospitals.
Using the new application, patients have access to a variety of services at Hadassah Hospitals and its outpatient clinics. These already include registration for giving birth, scheduling an appointment, reminders of upcoming appointments, lab results and directions to the hospital.
Efrat Simon, director of Department at the Hadassah Division of Information Systems, says that “this application is a huge step in the field of mobile administration and medicine. Hadassah developed this application with the intention of improving the efficiency and quality of patient care. We continue to develop additional features, such as a Hadassah phonebook and an English version.”
